CM 2008 > Guides > Club League Guides > English Championship

The Championship is an extremely competitive league, with any team capable of beating another on their day. The price of success and failure in this division can be massive. On the one hand there is promotion to the promise land of the Premiership, on the other, either staying in the Championship or relegation to League One can mean financial difficulties for many teams.

Such is the competitive nature of the league, that there are up to ten teams battling it out for just three promotion places, with a couple of dark horses in there as well.

Clicking on the clubs name will open the club guide.

League Structure:

- Top 2 teams are promoted automatically
- Teams finishing 3rd - 6th contest play offs, with the winner being promoted
- Bottom 3 teams are relegated

CM FOCUS

CM 2010 section
We will soon be starting work on our new CM 2010 section, which should be up within the next week.

I hope to build up some comprehensive lists of all the best players, tactics, set pieces routines and training schedules.

I am also hoping to start a new Lower League Section, with help and guides for those who chose to start their managerial careers further down the footballing ladder.

If anyone is interested in helping with the Lower League section or any other area of the site, then please send me an e-mail at jonathan@champ-man.com
