Hoops Refuse to do Business With Old Firm Rivals
Celtic have again been forced to knock back a bid from Rangers for one
of their players. Walter Smith had hoped to tempt the Hoops into selling
out of favour Danish midfielder Thomas Gravesen, with a bid of 2.6
million, but Jonathan Wolstenholme has restated his unwillingness to
allow one of his players move to Ibrox.

Hearts Chairman Vladimir Romanov has defended the clubs decision to
sell star striker Pinilla to Celtic. He said that the 7.2m fee was
too good to turn down and has promised manager Angel Chervenko the
money will be reinvested in the squad.
