Aberdeen
1 - 2 Celtic, Pittodrie
Aberdeen showed that their is hope for the rest of the SPL yet, with a
bullish performance against Celtic in the League Cup fourth round.
Despite ultimately succumbing to two first half goals from Figueroa, the
Dons were very much on top in the second half, but could not grab the
equaliser after Steve Lovell had pulled one back.
Celtic manager Jonathan
Wolstenholme will point to the fact that his team have played 4 games in
the last 10 days for this jaded display, but will be happy that they
pulled through and booked their place in the semi finals.
