Milan 1 - 0 Celtic, San Siro
Milan may have come out on top on the night, but it is Celtic who are celebrating their progress to the last sixteen. The Bhoys were on top for large parts of the game, but couldn't find a way past Dida. A brilliant second half free kick from Seedorf saw Milan snatch the victory, but it was in vein as PSV routed Spartak 4-0.

Celtic look in good shape for the knockout stages, but it was another defeat against Milan and doubts will remain about their ability to handle the pressure against top quality opposition.
