St. Mirren 0 - 3 Celtic, Love Street
The final match of 2007 saw Celtic dominate St. Mirren from start to
finish. However, despite completing a convincing victory, the Hoops
spurned a host of chances and Gus MacPherson's men can count themselves
lucky that they were not on the end of a more emphatic defeat.
The striking duo of Figueroa
and Pinilla, who have been so clinical all year, failed to register a
goal, despite numerous chances. But inspirational centre back Bobo Balde
paved the way with two towering headers from Scott Brown corners and
Alexandre Pato scrambled home a late third.
