Celtic 9 - 0 Kilmarnock, Parkhead
Jim Jefferies had billed this match as a coming of age for his team, the match where they would show that they could live with the best teams in the SPL. Unfortunately for the Kilmarnock boss, the best have got a lot better and Celtic ripped his side to pieces in ninety minutes of some of the most electrifying football you will ever see.

Pinilla was the main protagonist, bagging a brilliant hat trick and deservedly claiming the Man of the Match award. The Chilean striker has visibly grown in confidence and stature this year, following his move from Hearts. Braces from McGeady and Pato, as well as goals for Davies and Figueroa completed the rout.

"I'm disappointed obviously, but we came up against a very talented team who were firing on all cylinders."
