CM 2010 > Downloads > Databases > World Super League InfoThe World Super League features the twenty biggest and most successful football teams from around the world all crammed into one league! Winning this league will prove the ultimate test of a managers ability, as the ‘big’ games will come every week. From Manchester United to Boca Juniors and Barcelona to Al-Ahly; the twenty teams who compete in this revamped version of the English Premier League have been painstakingly recreated by myself, to accurately reflect how they appeared in the original database.
World Super League Screenshot Issues: + The game recognise Inter and AC Milan as sharing the same stadium. However, having swapped them for Everton and Manchester City respectively, the game now thinks that these two clubs share a ground. Therefore, both of them play at the City of Manchester Stadium. + Hull City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are no longer playable within the database because they have been replaced by the originally unplayable duo of Al-Ahly Sporting Club and Pohang Steelers. + Outside of the actual World Super League, the teams who were previously in the English Premier League have been moved into other European and South American leagues - Wigan and Burney have been placed in the Russian Premier League (where there is a limit of 6 non-Russian players in any match day squad) and Bolton have been added to the Brazilian Serie A (where there is a limit of 3 non-Brazilian players in any match day squad). To try and ensure that these clubs keep the majority of their real life teams intact and do not end up populated almost entirely by newgens, I have decided that all British players for these three clubs, will be given dual nationality to correspond with their new country. For example, Kevin Davies of Bolton, will have dual English/Brazilian nationality. + An unknown corruption has occurred in the Kit.dat and KitClub.dat files within the database which has caused a few teams kits to appear incorrect. This isn’t an issue that makes the database unplayable and only affects Porto and Lyon in the World Super League. It is, however, a little annoying, but I am yet to find a workaround that doesn’t cause the game to crash. Club Badges: I would imagine most people will want to have the correct club badges for the new database, so I have included them all in with the download. Rather than simply just give you the new badges and then you having to add them all into the correct country folders one by one, I have decided it would be a lot simpler to just give you the entire altered ‘ClubBadges’ folder. Don’t forget to place your existing ‘ClubBadges’ folder somewhere you can easily remember on your hard drive, though. This way, it will simply be a matter of just alternating between the two different ‘ClubBadges’ folder accordingly when you want to play with the World Super League database or just the standard database. The ‘ClubBadges’ folder is located in C:\Program Files\Eidos\Championship Manager 2010\FrontEndScreens\Ocean The database itself needs to be extracted to My Documents\Eidos\Championship Manager 2010\Databases. The Changes: Below I will detail the changes I have made; replacing the entire teams (first team, reserves and youth), managers, coaching staff, stadium (including youth stadiums), badges, colours, kits, finances, transfer funds, reputation, etc of one club with another - All of this information I have taken from the editor, double checked and I am almost certain it should all be correct. Anyway, here are the clubs who have been swapped and the divisions they have been moved to. Teams in bold are those joining the new World Super League: AC Milan - Manchester City (Italy-
Serie A)

CM 2010 section
We will soon be starting work on our new CM 2010 section, which should
be up within the next week. I hope to build up some comprehensive lists of all the best players, tactics, set pieces routines and training schedules. I am also hoping to start a new Lower League Section, with help and guides for those who chose to start their managerial careers further down the footballing ladder. If anyone is interested in helping with the Lower League section or any other area of the site, then please send me an e-mail at jonathan@champ-man.com |
