The French Ligue 2 is the second tier in the French
league system. It has an excellent standard of players and clubs, good
enough to match the second tier of all the other major European leagues.
Although a lot of the players are home-grown, there is a growing influx
of players from nearby Africa. The teams who were recently relegated
from Ligue 1 are the main promotion contenders; Troyes, Sedan and
Nantes. Nantes are head and shoulders above the rest of the teams, both
in quality of players and financial resources.

CM 2010 section
We will soon be starting work on our new CM 2010 section, which should
be up within the next week. I hope to build up some
comprehensive lists of all the best players, tactics, set pieces
routines and training schedules. I am also hoping to
start a new Lower League Section, with help and guides
for those who chose to start their managerial careers further
down the footballing ladder. If anyone is interested in
